Hi. This is Ib from Outdoor Rodovre
Here I have a lightweight fiber insulated sleepingbag
It is the Gullfoss Fiber Summer
A small lightweight bag.
It takes up about twice the space of a Nalgene bottle
And there is practically not room for anything in that - you think. But there is.
There is room for 60 gram of fiberinsulation.
Just enough to sleep outside in a tent during the summer
when the temperature is above 12 degrees celcius
Or you can use it indoors of course.
And that could be trips to - say....
The Camino in Northern Spain or it could be
South-east Asian travels, or just spending the night at a friends place
and therefor need to bring a sleeping bag.
And then this is a good choice
It does not take up too much room in the pack And there is plenty room for other stuff.
Taking a look at the bag - unfolded
It is a rather simple bag made with a Rip-Stop nylon surface
that adds good strenght to the fabric.
The fiber insulation is sewn to the inner of the rip-stop nylon, and inside there is
a soft layer of wicking polyester. Very comfortable to sleep in.
It has a nice hood,
That you can draw tight around the face.
with this string.
This is neccesary if you sleep in a tent when the temperature is as low as 12-15 degrees
in order to avoid heat loss as best you can
Pull it tight
so only the nose and mouth is visible
It's really great sleeping like that:
A cold nose
and the rest of the body warm in the bag
Have a great trip.
