Blowdry your hair.
What I'm doing today is something I've never tried. I'm attempting to somehow mix some of the wavyness found in Korean hair, while bringing in Japanese style mullets and gyaru-o spiking.
Before we start, I have to go over a few things. 1. Yes, I have acne. 2. This video is 10min long to emphasize the actual time I needed to finish this. 3. The crap that's needed includes: a clear shampoo (preferably deep-cleaning), no conditioner, blowdryer, straightener, matte wax, any hairspray. 4. Any additional info in the description box.
BRB.
Loosen up your hair with a straightener. I don't give a sh*t what temp you decide to use.
The product I'm using specifically is Shiseido UNO Fiber Neo 'Mat Creator'. Similar to Gatsby Grunge Mat but a bit stickier and dries down for more hold.
Scrunch into your roots to create some waves and layers.
Spread around, and apply to your sides behind the ears.
Straighten sideburns to emphasize wavyness.
Grab your hairspray, only one I could find was that Blasting Freeze one. The nozzle was f*cking dirty.... Anyways, spray sides at the roots to add more hold.
Don't worry about shaping anything perfectly as of now. That's what the straightener's for.
Yeah, my hair is randomly curly is tiny places. Sides keep curling down.
Straighten to lighten the sides. Hairspray residue sucks.
Spray top/middle, shake out to keep the dandruff away.
Crap, I think an eyelash went into my eye.
To be honest, I could have stopped here and f*cked the mullet part, but that's not what this vid's for.
BRB AGAIN.
Yeah I just went to get some clay, just to even out the texture made by the hairspray.
Alright, it's shaping time. Get your straightener and straighten out the sides while giving it a slight flick to create some curls.
Finally, straighten the top for extra edge.
Right now is basically the fixing stage. Twist and pinch to perfect your look.
Give your back some extra layers.
By the way, I don't do this everyday. So thanks for watching, and happy styling!
