This video shows you how to restart the print spooler in Windows 8. The print spooler is
a service built in to the operating system that helps place the print jobs in order and
interacts with the printer.
In this video we will use a mouse to select items. If you are using a touch-screen computer
you will tap the selection whenever the video says click.
From your computer, right-click the lower left corner of the computer screen to open
the menu. Click Search.
In the Search box, type Services. From the search results list, click View local
services. Scroll down the list until you find Print
Spooler. Right-click Print Spooler and select Restart
from the dropdown menu. The Print Spooler will now restart.
If your printer spooler will not restart, you might have to restart your computer.
