No Excuses, Ha Ha.
Hey youtubers, this week on Sleepy Hollow so much happened. Ichabod and Abbie were finally
able to trap the Horseman with the help
of Orlando Jones. John Cho is back, Ichabod took a spirited stand against bottled
water
and learn the wonders of internet ***. So since there a way too many awesome moments
to talk about, let's
just do the TOP 5 and then I'll do my review. Number 5 - Orlando Jones VS The
Headless Horseman.
The Captain has been a very reluctant participant in Ichabod and Abbie's
shenanigans up to this point, but he finally got a nice full blast of the
Headless Horseman.
And got pretty close to that Axe. I'd always thought that the Captain was actually hiding
something about his identity, like he was a Freemason
or he was like John Cho, and was serving Moloch. But it seems like right now
What You See Is What You Get, so the Captain is now on "Team Ichabbie".
Number Four - Ichabod VS his happy place. Terrytown was really cool because they found
out all about the manuscript and learned it was online
but those *** selling bottled water and that whole Tour Group just totally
ruined everything for him.
Number 3- Ichabod VS Thomas Jefferson or should I say
Ichabod VS DNA Evidence. It was hilarious watching him lose that
argument with the Captain and Abbie over Sally Hemmings.
"I guess you never really know some people. Number 2 - Ichabod VS The Internet
or Ichabod VS Hot Chixxx. "Hey Sexy, wanna chat?"
"Still here..." The look on his face when that popped up was priceless. It was the
perfect mixture of horror,
curiosity and shame. Which is exactly what internet *** is
all about. And my Number 1 favorite moment - Ichabod VS The Straw.
"There are no excuses." Obviously this scene was not as intense as actually
capturing The Horseman,
but things like this are so important for character development
and helping us get connected with these characters. I like to think of it as like a
"Joss Whedon" moment you have this big a Occult War going on in the background
but you still have time to have this really funny moment, like a really big
pause in the action before something really epic happens.
But the TWO Big Questions that I have after this episode are - "What are they going to do
with The Horseman now they have him?"
and "What's coming next?" What is Moloch going to send after them next.
If you've seen the teaser for the next episode, you know we actually find out the answers to
both those questions.
So Ichabod is going to try and question the Headless Horseman to find out what
Moloch is sending after them next, but how do you communicate with something
that doesn't have a head?
And because we saw a lot of monsters converging on the tunnels it looks like
Moloch is going to try and break the Horseman out.
But what I think the episode overall? Well it was actually my new favorite
episode of the season so far.
It's actually one of the first episodes made after the show got picked up for
a full season, so they went on hiatus for a couple weeks
and then started shooting new episodes. Clearly they've been listening to a lot of
feedback about the show because I feel like it's getting
way way better. I'm feeling way more connected with Ichabod and Abbie.
There starting to feel like a real team now. And now Orlando Jones' character is starting
to feel like a real character too.
It's not a dig against Orlando Jones because his character is has just been written that way.
But previously the Captain has really just felt like a caricature with crazy
eyes walking around.
I've been loving the history lessons in the episode that Ichabod's been giving. I totally
hope the writers are writing the real truth because I'm
totally believing it. Like the fact that the "Midnight Ride" was actually Samuel
Prescott's and not Paul Revere's.
There was so many amazing moment both intense and funny so let me know your
favorite moments were,
and let me know do you think that the Headless Horseman is going to escape?
What are they going to be doing with him in the next couple of episodes?
Since the midseason finale is coming I'm expecting the Headless Horseman to
escape and there to be a big battle.
But let me know what you think. Speaking a big things, I'm also doing a bunch more
