Andy Brauer here. Welcome to my lounge.
Today I want to talk about some products that are no-brainers.
Stuff that you need to check out and must have.
For sure, absolutely.
Brute Drive, overdrive pedal.
Gain, real good mid-range clarity.
Good bottom, nice chimey highs
Sweet sustain, a little compressed, but not too saturated.
Check out the demos, you'll be impressed, they're great.
Fuzzy Drive.
Fuzzy Drive, more of a Germanium Fuzz Face kind of sound.
A little in your face, a little glass-platey.
But aggressive and obnoxious, just the way you like it.
Very cool, definitely check this out.
One of my favorites, the EP Booster.
Definite must-have.
A serious pedal in your arsenal.
Basically the philosophy of it is...
the preamp of the green Tube Echoplex.
Very Jimmy Page. Very Black Crowes, Jeff Beck.
What is does, is it... You hit it at about three...
...and you're going to gain a nice, fat clarity.
Just kind of a bump.
But at seven, it gives you a nice DB boost.
A little more ***.
And uh, sexy. The sound gets sexy.
Ten. Dime it, and... Mayhem. Controlled mayhem.
It's wonderful. I love it.
And it's a cheap pedal for the money.
Wonderful, definitely check it out.
And... Raw Vintage Pickups.
We have the 56s.
Which are very true-authentic, vintage-tone.
Chime, clarity in the mid-range.
Articulate, embracing low-end.
A little wooly, which is a '50s pickup sound.
A little more lower-output than the 64 version.
But, very true-authentic.
Very...capturing that mystique.
That texture we're looking for in a '50s pickup.
The 64 has a little more gain.
Hotter output, a little chimey-er, more bell-like.
A little fatter in the ***, more bottom.
Spanky-er. Definitely spanky-er in the mid-range.
Also both pickups are offered in a reverse wound middle pickup.
Check out the videos of me demoing the pickups and...
...listen to the difference between the reverse wound middle and...
...non-reverse.
So, definitely killer pickups to check out...
...for true-authentic vintage sound.
And...the Xotic Cable.
I've been a cable-freak my whole life.
Since Alexander Dumble turned me on to what cables did.
And they do a lot.
A cable can be the most important link between your guitar...
...and your amplifier, that you have, today.
If you're cheesing-out on the cable, you owe yourself to get a good cable.
For the money, the Xotic cables are well worth the dollar.
There are a lot of high-end cables that I endorse...
...that are $150.
Yes, you can hear a little more chime.
And the sustain is a little bit clearer.
But for the money, you can't beat the Xotics.
They're durable, they sound great.
And they're well-made, so definitely check these out.
Very important for your Stratocaster are Tremolo Springs.
So, check out the Raw Vintage Tremolo Springs.
They're really well-made, the material is the finest...
...and the tone-enhancement has to be heard to be believed.
Because believe-it-or-not, changing springs can make a...
...big difference in your guitar.
So, check these out. Very affordable.
The Raw Vintage Steel Saddles.
Again, changing your saddles from a Big Block, die-cast, cheese saddle...
...to a good high quality steel saddle... It's remarkable.
The amount of bloom you get from the guitar.
The way that the notes pop, sustain, the clarity.
And the articulate note-separation in overdrive.
It must be heard.
It definitely makes a difference.
There's no jive-talking about changing saddles.
You can check out titanium saddles, you can check out plastic saddles.
But in my opinion, the steel saddles...
...which are tailored after the true vintage...
...of the '60s and '50s, are the way to go.
Raw Vintage Pure Steel Saddles are an excellent addition to your guitar.
Definitely worth the time for the mod. Check them out.
Xotic Basses.
Hand-crafted. Well-made.
Well thought-out. Articulate.
Re-creations of the Jazz Bass.
Great acoustic tone.
Wonderful, superb, plugged-in electric tone.
Snappy, active electronics with a passive/active push-pull.
Just a great, uh...
The note, just hangs in there and sustains.
And, nice bottom.
This is just acoustically.
Imagine what it sounds like electrically.
Great fret work. Wonderful wood.
The workmanship and the attention to detail is...
...some of the best.
I highly endorse these basses. Definitely check them out.
If you're a serious bass player and you're looking for better tone...
...definitely a great place to start.
