Matt and Jeannie were married at the beautiful Heritage Estate on Mt Tamborine. Tamborine
Mountain is a wedding photographers dream with an abundance of amazing locations to
photograph wedding portraits.
As with all of our Brisbane and Gold Coast wedding photography packages a complimentary
pre-wedding shoot is available to couples. The prewedding shoot serves both as a process
of education and a chance to get to know each other better. During this time we discuss
all aspects of the wedding day along with role playing critical moments of the day.
We then go for a walk and put some of the theories to practice. Having some shared experience
to draw upon helps to make the wedding day photos look more natural and relaxed.
One aspect of the day though that we didnt plan for was the runaway bridal car! As the
driver jumped out to open boots and doors the hand break had not been fully engaged.
As the car continued rolling Jeannie made a dive from the backseat to save the day.
The service at The Heritage are conducted in a lovely glass room set on a timber deck
with views of the gold coast and surrounding hills. With tears, laughter and live music
performances the ceremony was a grand affair.
Jeannie and Matt are the type of people who have infectious personalities, drawing people
into a circle of warmth and laughter. I wanted their wedding portraits to reflect the simple
joy that they found in each others arms while blending in some artistically different photos
to offer a contrast.
The
reception began with the grand entrance of the couple from the balcony staircase straight
in the bridal dance, an upbeat Jazz number, which set the tone for the evening.
The reception is a great time to mingle with guests and to capture sneaky candid images.
I just love the collection of images showing Matt and Jeannie's reactions to the speeches.
With all of our Gold Coast and Brisbane wedding photography packages, I stay until the end
of the reception, ensuring that all of the moments of the day are recorded for future
prosperity and social media black mailing!!
