Hi this is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. When you go to quick shading the only difference
between this and garue shading is that only one light illuminates the scene and that's
the auto light that comes built into the program. You'll notice that the light that we set no
longer is seen. I mean it is still having an effect, but we just don't see it. And this
allows a little more speed when you’re working. The program doesn't have to calculate all
the light and shadows and so forth. And so this gives you a quick view of your scene.
You shade a property means that when this is selected we are using the shade or material
that is assigned to this object. This allows us to see, we are going to switch this to
garue. And use shading property so that whatever texture is assigned to this object will show
up in the view point when this is checked. And the views projection is now perspective.
You can see that we have choices for each view port window of how we’d like to view
our scene. Perspective is the most common view. Again it is called a projection. We
also have a parallel projection or left and right and so forth. We have about a dozen
different ways to look at any given scene..
