When you work with a project, you can open and dock the Toolbox on the left hand side.
The main areas of the ARCHLine.XP Interface are very easy to distinguish.
The application header is showing the name & path of your current project.
The Main menu contains all the tools and commands of the software.
The toolbars collect common tasks in a form of compact and easy to remember icons.
The Toolbox collects all necessary design tools organized into categories.
The Status bar allows access to the Program settings or the Floor and Layer management for example.
In the Work area you can work on 2D and 3D drawings in full screen or split-view.
Drawings can be easily renamed by clicking on their header at any time.
Some items of the Work area can also be positioned to a new place.
The Navibar offers tools for Zoom...
...Pan...
...Fit to Window...
...or Zoom to a specific area.
You can also hide or unhide the Navibar.
To maximize the Work area you can hide the Toolbox.
The hidden Toolbox, Design Center and Property grid can be opened by just simply moving the cursor over it.
In the Design Center you can easily navigate by finding and opening categories.
If you click the Home button you can even search freely everywhere at once.
Just type the search term and wait for a second and the results will appear.
You can place the selected item if you drag and drop it to the drawing.
Click ESC or hit the ESC button on your keyboard to escape a command.
Click on a drawing part to select it. The markers and the Floating toolbar will appear.
In the Floating toolbar you can change the Properties, you can erase or transform or you can open the context menu of the selected item.
In the Settings panel you can turn off unnecessary interface items.
The Drawing Pane gives you full control over all the drawings.
Simply click on the image of a drawing to activate it.
You can also use the Drawing list button of the Drawing Pane to switch drawings.
The 3D Navibar gives total control over your 3D model.
You can rotate the model.
You can select Standard Views.
And you can quickly change the style of representation.
You can easily define and manage Perspective views.
You can even turn real-time shadows on or off.
The header of all 3D windows offer a convenient menu.
Here you can find the Standard views as well.
Or you can quick-jump back to the current perspective view.
In the Settings panel you can select a Window arrangement for the Work area.
In the Picture in picture arrangement one window is pinned and always visible on top of the others.
When you click on a drawing and the "Enlarge active window" button the drawings will swap places.
The Windows arranged on right arrangement is very popular when the project contains more than 2 drawings.
Turn off the Picture in picture option in the window context menu and you can use the split view arrangement.
To place a drawing on a second monitor, open the window context menu and select the Second monitor command.
This will detach the drawing from the interface and you can drag it to the other monitor.
Now you can make both drawings full-screen on both monitors.
If you have a touch screen device you will love the Screen menuboard.
It is a touch friendly representation of the design tools.
It is also convenient on large screen devices with hidden Toolbox.
The Screen menuboard is customizable in size and orientation for your convenience.
