First I'm going to measure the stone. I happen to be setting a Kenyan ruby. Now this is 3.70
millimeter stone. So, I'm going use a head that is 4 millimeters. Just under 4 millimeters.
Between the actual prongs. It's important you have the right size head so that the stone
doesn't sit, too low in the head. Or so you don't have to bend the prongs, way out to
actually fit the stone in it. Measuring the stone with the leverage gauge. But any millimeter
gauge will work. The stone's coming up at, just about 3.8. And the earring comes up at
a very similar size. Yeah, 3.8.
