Today we are counting down the top 5 worst Korean Dramas that you never, ever want to see again.
Coming in at number 5 we have Goong S.
I loved Goong.
So naturally I thought that the male version that came out shortly after would have some of the same appeal.
Oh how I was wrong.
Somehow a 30ish empress marrying a punk noodle salesman just doesn't have the same vibe.
Why you should not watch? While the show was not terrible,
I couldn't get my mind wrapped around the concept, I mean the name was practically recycled.
You had a completely different show and target audience on your hands. This drama might not
have even made this list if they had been a little bit more creative with the title.
At number 4 we have 1% of Anything. I'm going to be honest with you. I started watching
this one because the main character looked like one of my friends in college. But couldn't
really make it past the first few episodes especially knowing there were 26 of them.
Why you should not watch? The acting was a bit off and the romance was fluff!\'a0 I expect
fluff with high school dramas but not this fluffy cotton candy depthless sugar overkill
for adults. Splitting the list at number 3 we have Fashion King. Okay, I love Dongdaemun
and fashion. I bought my wedding dress in Dongdaemun. I jumped up and down with excitement
outside of Parson's school of design in manhattan.\'a0 In this one the leads are super sexy - but
the main girl has no backbone and cries at the drop of a hat. Why you should not watch?
The acting is great but the story is crap. And, while I have not finished it, every review
that I read just further instills my desire of not making a bad story worse by finishing
it. At number 2 we have Ice Girl. In this drama a young Miss Kim has a heart attack
right before she gets married. Her father was a doctor, but he was unable to save her.
So instead he decides to freeze her until he can find a cure. [Hava Nagila music] 25
years later, she is defrosted, and falls in love with her former fiances son. Why you
should not watch? Holy cheese balls! It's bad. The acting is rough and the whole premise,
it is far from the best melodrama i've ever seen. And for our worst terrible, horrible,
awful, what were the writers thinking in their minds when they wrote this monstrosity we
have number 1: Ireland. Here's the beginning of the synopsis. A westernized Irish adoptee
inevitably flies back to Korea to confront her past, and to see the country she is really
from, only to fall in love with her biological brother. Their love is painful, as they are
never meant to be together as lovers, but as brother and sister. Why you should not
watch? Hmm, lets see where to begin? The plot line maybe?\'a0 That a girl who was raised
by Irish parents can speak perfect Korean? The really bad representation of Ireland?
Showing up to Korea in traditional Irish costume?\'a0 The Irish mom with the American accent?\'a0
You're left just saying what the f*** man!??? And that does it for todays horrible Top 5.
I am starting a weekly poll on my Hallyu Back Facebook page. For this weeks poll, which
