Hello I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you easy ways to
draw turkey cartoons for this holiday season. So, first we need to get our supplies together
before we can start drawing our cartoon turkeys. The supplies are pretty straight forward.
First you are going to want to have some good white paper. I mean at least a eight in a
half by eleven which is standard printing size paper. Eleven by fourteen is even better.
It gives you some more just some more room to stretch out on the page and make for a
bigger turkey. You can also alternately consider having some color paper as well to draw on.
You don't necessarily have to have white. White can make for the best contrast but there
are other colors out there some more fall festive colors. Like yellow, brown, and red
which you could also use. Next we are going to want to have just some basic lead pencils.
You can also go with a light blue pencil, some people are also using these. But we are
using these to kind of start drawing in our turkey. Also, you have to make sure you have
an eraser. Then we are going to move on with some real fun colored pencils. We are going
to want to have a variety of colors here which I would cover but definitely good colored
pencil set at your disposal. Next we are going to have some color pens. These are going to
match a lot of the shades. We are going to discuss our color pencils. Now you can go
all out on these, you can have really expensive pens or you can have really cheap pens. It
does not matter really for what we are going to be setting out today. A lot of the pencils
look very good for your turkey. Then just lastly, you can help by having some other
things like a photograph of turkeys for reference. Some tape, to tape things to your table if
you are working on a slant also comes in handy .
