This is how to....
Make perfect pancakes with.....
Jules Bronte!
You will need: 200 grams of plain flour a pinch of salt, 6 eggs......
350 ml of full cream milk, 50 ml of sunflower oil
150 ml of water
Put in the salt, just a light sprinkling.
Lightly mix with a whisk. Crack the six eggs, and put them in.
Mix quickly. Takes a bit of beating.
Use a fair sized whisk.
Try to smooth the batter, so there are no (or as few as possible) lumps.
Obviously the smoother the batter is, the smoother your pancake is.
Put in the milk.
You have put the milk in, and now you must.....
Mix well.
It should be smoother.
Keep beating.
You should have gotten rid of all the lumps.
Beat it nicely.
Add in the water now.
Beat it again.
Now, add in the oil.
Just give it a good stir and....
Make sure it's all mixed.
It should be smooth, and a bit runny.
There you go.
It should look like this now.
It's a really easy recipe.
And it makes a nice pancake.
And it's a big mixture.
Now you can put it in the fridge if you want to.
But just give it a good stir afterwards.
With the whisk.
Just to make sure it's all nicely mixed.
We'll show you in a minute what to do to cook it.
You put it on gas mark six. And this is an electric stove that we are using.
And you put in a little bit of the mix.
Just a teensy-weensy little bit more...
You swirl it around and...
And same thing for the other pan.
Swirl...... Opps! The pans are too hot. We have to turn them down. Now an 'expert flick'.
Looks like the... The.. The surface of the moon.
And the beggars are here, already waiting for the perfect pancakes! And volia! That is how you make pancakes!
