Hi, this is Bryce Morrison from Healing Rooms Ministries Headquarters.
I wanted to give you a tour of the new feature that we have...
The online inbox
It can be used to communicate between members of your team,
members of the area that you're in,
and also between yourself and the staff of the Healing Rooms Ministries
Headquarters.
And, of course, myself with the website.
You'll notice on the top-right-hand corner of this page happens to be an Inbox.
That Inbox has a count of how many unread messages that you have.
If you do not have any number to the right of Inbox,
then that probably means that you do not have any messages that you haven't already read.
Go ahead and click on Inbox, and it'll bring up this page that's right here.
It says "Message Inbox."
It's grouped up into "Unread Messages" and "Read Messages" for your reference.
The "Read Messages" are just for your future reference.
They're arranged in the order in which you have received them initially.
The "Unread Messages" are, of course, those that you need to read in order to
correspond with us at the office or somebody on your team.
So here is a test message I'm going to go ahead and click on.
If it had a video content, that was posted on YouTube, let's say, then it would have
that video showing here as well.
And here is the text of this test message.
I can either Reply to that Sender, or I can go Back to the Mailbox, or I can Mark this
as Unread for later use.
So I'm going to just go back to the Mailbox, and you can see that the
message has now been moved to the bottom and has been marked with the
date that I have [received] it.
Go ahead and click on the Compose New Message.
Drafts doesn't have anything in the Drafts folder, because there is nothing that I
have partially composed, but if I'm going to go to Compose New Message, and then
I'm going to partially make an email, then it will go ahead and be put in the Drafts
until I send that message.
You can change the subject line and I'm just going to say Test message.
And in the Message content, I'm going to put This is a test .
I'm going to go ahead and...
If you need to do some additional formatting, use that button right here.
It's got the pencil and paper.
You can modify the Color, insert Picture, Links, put a Table, Paragraph, et cetera.
I'm going to add a recipient, and the contacts that you will probably all have access to
are those that are the main office contacts.
And if you scroll down just a bit, you will notice that I am here as Website Technical Support.
I'm going to send this test message to myself,
so you can see how it looks on the Inbox as a recipient as well.
I can either Add Selected Recipients or Continue Editing Your Message.
If I was to choose a different group that I had access to,
then I would want to do Add Selected Recipients.
So that would bring me back to this page.
I'm just going to go ahead and do that right now.
Now it shows you that I have one recipient. And that is myself.
If you wanted to copy these recipients to paste inside your email application...
Such as if you wanted to insert some additional content, like an image
...or some other things that might not be suitable for the website technology here...
Go ahead and copy all of the addresses.
Or you can double click on that area.
Do Control A for Select All. Or right click. Select All.
And then hover over part of the selection and then say Copy, also with the right click.
Then you can paste that into the To address field of your email client.
I would recommend the Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) if it's a large group of people
who do not communicate with each other.
Okay, so now we're going to go to continue editing your message.
Again, it verifies that I am there as the recipient.
You can hit the X. Left click on the X to delete a contact.
I'm going to go ahead and send this message.
Let's actually save the draft, so you can see what it looks like in the Drafts folder.
So now you see that the Drafts icon has a count of 1.
I'm going to go back to that Drafts page and then I can open up this message.
And then I will Send that message again.
Now it is completely sent.
It is in the Sent Messages page, as well as the Inbox, because, of course, I sent it to myself.
You'll notice that the time it was Sent.
The Test Message right there is the Subject Line for my reference.
And it said Read? No.
If it's only to one recipient, then that will only be a Yes or a No.
Yes if they have read the message. No if they have not.
If it has been to a group of recipients, then it will have a count showing.
The number on the left happens to represent the number of recipients that
have read the message.
The number on the right is the total number of recipients.
If you want to click on that, it will show you the date that they have read.
This is, again, saying that Bryce has not read this message.
Let's go back to the Sent Messages and see one that has been read.
Here is the date that this recipient read the message.
So that can give you a little bit of accountability.
And you'll know who on that list.
If it was sent to a bulk of people and it was an important message,
you might want to personally contact those people using some other method
such as telephone or an email to another address.
Because it's going to be the email reminder that is sent to them
will be done so by using the default address that they have on this website.
And if it goes into the Bulk Mail folder, then they might not know about it.
So, hopefully, just remind them to go to the website to check their email.
Ok, that's gives you the general run-down of our new online messaging system.
Be sure to use this to communicate with your team, or those of us in the office,
if you want to know whether or not somebody has actually read this note.
So it holds us accountable.
Hopefully, you'll be getting some other bulk messages from those of us here at
the Headquarters that would apply to you...
Including much of the video content that we have planned.
