Agidelia turns 50 this year
It was first organized in 1963 as workers' co-op
but then new workshops were added: embroidery,
lacquer and artistic miniature painting, and carpet weaving
Furniture production these days works at full capacity
We produce painting on wood, mostly souvenir production,
like spoons, dishes, ladles, vases, jewelry boxes, panels
where we display landscapes and landmarks
from the Republic of Bashkortostan.
We also have loom weaving in which we maintain Bashkir traditions
though we can make any drawings by order.
This will be a big, summer scarf
It's shown here
Scarves are made from chiffon
Drawings are painted using textile paints
and in a few place I cover it with hot paraffin.
I melt it, paint it, break it, cover it with several layers of paint
and we end up with an eastern-style scarf.
