Hello once again. This is Gia Saralidze in the studio of Vestnik Kavkaza. We continue to talk about football.
As I promised in the last broadcast of our program, we will talk about the Russian Premier League, about the matches which have already taken place yesterday.
Today, when we were filming the broadcast, I will repeat myself once again, there are still games that are about to start.
Therefore, let's talk about what happened. There are two interesting results. One concerns the score.
In general, no one doubted that Spartak Moscow will defeat Nizhny Novgorod's Volga, but I doubt that anyone could have predicted that the score would be 6:1.
In general, the instability of our clubs, even among the top five, is surprising.
They can play and lose to outsiders, but at the same time they can show a brilliant game and score half a dozen goals, enjoying their game.
It is unclear what it depends on, how it all comes together.
Once you start talking about a not right atmosphere in the team, about signs of regress, crisis, they show games of that kind.
Now Moscow's Spartak, which played so well in the last match...
It is unclear whether even the most fervent supporters of Spartak can claim that Spartak will continue playing and scoring as brilliantly and attacking as fervently. I think not.
Just like the St. Petersburg fans, who felt very sad watching the match which took place in Grozny, where Terek played Zenit, it was a stand off, 1:1.
The sides played very similarly. An outsider player, which has only several points and is in second-last place in the standings, is having a crisis, constantly changing coaches, it is unclear what the administration wants from this club by always bouncing it in such a way and our grand, which has a chance to go further in the Champions League.
And there was a draw, 1:1. Of course, it is good in terms of producing suspense and competition in the championship. But in my opinion, a club of that kind, with such great potential, with such a great line-up and with such ambitions, has to play in the championship at least in a more stable way.
I don't know what happened to the team, it mixes good matches with bad matches.
There was a good game with Atletico FC in the Champions League and now we have something like this. It continues to lose points in the Premier League.
It doesn't have victories any more, it lost its points. Only recently everyone was saying that Zenit would become the champion.
It had such a breakaway in the standings and it lost almost all of it in two or three rounds.
The struggle is getting more intense, and if the clubs play successfully today Zenit might not even remain in the top three.
Another match that has already taken place and that perhaps needs to be highlighted is the victory of Moscow's Dynamo.
It brings Moscow's Dynamo closer to the leading teams. You know, Dynamo Moscow plays very inconsistently, but, on the other hand, the lack of stability among all the leading clubs in the championship allows Lokomotiv, which lost a lot of points at the beginning of the championship, and Moscow's Dynamo, which had good games, victories as well as bad games and defeats, also great defeats, to continue competing for even the gold medal.
There is nothing surprising here. The density of the first five-six teams is high and that is why anything can happen.
Those who succeed in scoring some points now and who will be able to proceed to the second part of the championship, which will take place this spring in better shape, with better line-ups might become winners and medal bearers of the championship.
Anything is possible. It will be interesting to watch the other games today, CSKA and Lokomotiv will be playing there.
Let's see how well they will play. We will see each other soon to discuss the recent developments in our championships in detail, analyze the standings and perhaps even see who and how, and in what position will feature in the spring part of the championship.
Dear viewers, I am saying goodbye to you at this point. Watch football, watch and listen to Vestnik Kavkaza.
