Hey! What's up? I'm Chris, and today we're talking about how to put on Gaiters.
If you haven't considered using gaiters before you may want to, just because they're great
at keeping dirt, debris, and moisture out of your footwear,
which keeps you moving quickly and efficiently when you're out on the trail
so,
let's begin. The first thing that you'll want to do is take the gaiter
take it around the back side of your leg and then
wrap it around so that
the velcro is in the front
and then you'll just
secure
the velcro
and after you have the velcro
fastened
you'll take the instep strap
and to go
under the instep of your boot
and around the other side
and then up through the buckle.
once you have that secured you can take
the strap at the top and just feed it through
and fasten the buckle.
and you don't need this to be really tight just kind of snug.
so that gaiter doesn't slip down and so that it can
keep things from getting in there.
And then lastly, you'll take
the gaiter clip
and you can just clip it
on the lace of your boot
And then for the other one
it's the exact same thing.
so as i mentioned at the beginning of this video you wanna be sure that the
logos facing to the outside of your boot and the reason for that is because the
buckle is also on that side
and if you have the logo and the buckle on the inside obviously you may
catch it as you're moving your feet back and forth
and you don't want that. Also you'll notice that the velcro
goes this way
when it's fastened, if the logo is on the outside of the boot
and again that just
ensures that you won't
catch your foot on it and undo the velcro as you're hiking.
so anyway guys I hope you found this information helpful and if you have
be sure to hit the thumbs up
or head on over to our channel to subscribe. Thanks!
