Hey, welcome folks. My name is Lars, I'm an illustrator. Today I thought we'll talk about
how to draw a flower, maybe this time we'll talk about how we do a simplified flower.
And what you do is, do the middle part of the flower first, and then we'll the triangular
shapes on the outside of it, and I've always liked drawing these kind of flowers. I started
out as a graphite artist back in the day when I was in Sweden, and I used to have a friend
of mine that did these triangular flowers. They're kind of more of cartoony type flower.
So you do these, one, two, three, four, five triangles on the outside of it. Here's your
center of it, and from the inside of it you just take your line and go like that. Look
at that, there you already have basically a flower, and if you want to add some more
detail, you can add the little pollen inside there. And then in here is the stem, the stem
of the flower.
Think about the base, think about what the flower is in. You can obviously have it in
a pot, you could be on the ground. Take the shadow, that helps give it movement. Boom,
boom, boom. Look at that, it's already starting to come together. Art is an amazing thing.
And flowers are pretty fun to draw, everybody loves flowers. What should we have coming
here? What's coming over here? What is that? Is that a bee? Bee's love flowers, don't they?
Bzzzz. Alright folks. I hope that I explained to you guys how to draw a flower, a basic
flower. Till next time, have a great day.
