Did you know that 70% of your metabolic waste is eliminated through breathing.
70 percent, the other 30 percent is eliminated through perspiration, through
urination and through defecation.
So that means if you think that working on a good sweat now and then to stay
healthy you are going to the bathroom regularly, if you think that’s important,
then you have to think about how important breathing it is, because 70% of
the toxins are released from our body through our breathing.
And did you know that extensive research shows that life expectancy of the person
can be predicted most accurately by their breathing capacity.
Lung capacity is single best indicator of how long you will live.
And average person reaches peak lung capacity between the age of 25-30.
And in after that for every decade of life we lose between 12 and 27 percent of our
breathing capacity.
So if you can maintain your breathing capacity or raise your breathing capacity
then you can extend your life, you can improve your life.
So this is what we teach, we teach conscious breathing, breathing exercises
in order to strengthen our immune system, in order to improve or increase
our natural healing abilities and we offer basic and advanced breath therapy
trainings for personal development and for life enhancement.
Virtually all psychologists and all human development researchers agree that up
until the age 4 or 5 years old we receive programs that limit who we are, we
receive conditioning about who we are, how we look at ourselves, how we think
about each other, how we relate to the world.
And this conditioning is unconscious it is sort of directly downloaded into our
subconscious and it affects how we perceive, it affects [ahhh... it affects] what
we think is possible and our basic ideas what is right and wrong and are
determined by this early conditioning which by the way is not even chosen it is
directly instilled into us by parents, by culture, society, religion it is very much
like conditioning in a computer.
So these memories these impressions are stored in our subconscious and
memories are not just stored in our brain they are stored in cells of our body and
this is where breathing comes in.
Breathing activates and releases these impressions from the cells of our body.
So all these unconscious beliefs and all these memories that are stored in a cells
of our body they create blockages in our energy, they create blockages in a flow of
life force through us and it results in physical illnesses and diseases, in
psychological and emotional problems and tendencies and it strongly influences
our perception of ourselves and of life.
So there is a method a proven method of loosening and releasing these
impressions from our body, a way of clearing these subconscious beliefs and
this early conditioning from our system.
And this method has been tested in a academic circles in research and
scientific and medical studies throughout the world and it has been verified through
direct experiences by 10s of thousands of people who have practiced breath therapy
or breath work.
This method is called breath therapy [and a...] because it is so effective it is used in
sports, it is used in psychotherapy, it is used in education, it is used for
substance abuse prevention, it is used to clear psychological stress, it is used to
control pain, in fact it is used for health and well being on every level of our
system.
There is another level of being human another aspect of our being and that is a
spiritual level.
Since ancient times the breath has always been linked to spiritual awakening and
spiritual awareness.
Almost everyone knows that meditation and martial arts involve breath awareness
and controlled breathing.
Since ancient times the breath was associated with all kind of spiritual
practices including meditation and prayer.
Breathing may very well be the easiest and most powerful way we have to clear
our head, to settle our stomach, to calm our nerves and open our heart.
My name is Dan Brulé and I am one of the original founders of breath therapy.
I’ve been leading researcher and a proponent of it's use and application for
more than 35 years.
Since 1976 I’ve trained more than 60 thousand people in over 40 countries to
use the breath as a tool, as a bridge, as a force for healing and growth in body in
mind and spirit.
I encourage you to discover and explore and develop the power and the potential
of conscious breathing.
I am inviting you to seminars and trainings that will be taking place in your
city or country, because they present you with opportunity to understand in
practice the basics of breath work, to explore the art and the science behind
breath therapy, to learn the basics of this remarkable practice and experience the
benefits for yourself.
You will be able to apply breathing, the knowledge and the skills of breath
therapy in your own life.
You can explore some of the advanced methods and techniques, and you will
develop ability to share the benefits that you receive with your friends and family.
And there is also the option the possibility of becoming a professional and learning
to facilitate and couch others in this remarkable practice.
So, I thank you for your attention and I hope that every breath brings you love
and peace and joy, that every breath brings you aliveness, that every breath
releases stress from your system, and every breath brings you closer to truth of
who you are into your ultimate potential.
