I made a decision to become a personal injury lawyer, and really a motor vehicle accident
lawyer, because I saw the practice of law changing. And I saw that many years ago, and
I think as the law's changing, it gets more complicated. I came to the conclusion that
in order to be good and work to be the best at something, you really need to focus in
on a certain area of law. I think that's been very helpful to us and our clients.
I think one of the reasons the focus really helps us is that because we deal with the
same type of issues over and over again, and the insurance companies have lawyers, and
most of the insurance companies' lawyers that we find will focus in on doing the defense
of these motor vehicle accidents. And if you're a general practice lawyer trying to, in essence,
compete and fight against this other firm and it's focused on defending these type of
cases and has this expertise in that area and you don't have that expertise, you can
have a problem. So we've always decided and thought that the best way to be able to combat
that is to be focused in on proving up these cases, learn the complicated issues and be
good at it.
Because our firm is focused on motor vehicle accidents, we handle these type of cases all
the time. And with that, there's different things that have to be done immediately with
regards to a car accident. There's forms such as an MV-104 that needs to be dealt with.
There's also other forms, like the No Fault Insurance Application. You get medical bills
and lost wages and other miscellaneous expenses paid for, and that's important to get those
documents taken care of. But one of the other things is having all of the insurance companies
notice, and in order to done properly, there can be different layers of insurance, and
if you don't do this on a daily basis, it's very easy to miss some coverage or a means
of recovery, and that's one of the things I think our firm excels at is being able to
cover those areas and make sure we can have the coverages that we need to be able to maximize
the recovery for our clients.
I think the insurance companies know our firm and understand the fact that we focus on motor
vehicle accidents and that we're good at what we do. We have many very talented trial lawyers
that are in the courtroom on a regular basis and um, they know those lawyers and they know
that they're gonna do a good job.
Everyday people that are working can afford an attorney and can afford our law firm, because
we have something that's called a “no fee guarantee,” which means there's no attorney's
fees unless there's a recovery on your case. And so, it's called a contingent fee, and
so there no need to pay an attorney up front. The attorney gets paid at the end of the case
when there's a recovery.
