Jacob: Hey guys this is Jacob, about 1am Sunday morning
spring break week on my way to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
So we're going to cabo for a week for a leadership retreat
with the fraternity [Off-screen voices]: Cabo.
It should be a really fun time.
Kevin: Kevin here. It's about 3:41 in the morning. Why am I
up this early? Well, I decided to take the redeye train home.
I got about an hour and thirty minutes of sleep which is pretty
cool. It's at least one full sleep cycle.
[Music]
So I'm here at the amtrak station, I just got here. It's about 4:30.
It's actually before 4:30 and apparently they don't open the
doors until 4:30... yeah.
Megan: So this is the beginning of my packing for Los Angeles. Going
with the honors program to visit
some companies, and gonna be on the price is right. My roommate
already left for the *** islands. So, just me in my lonely little apartment,
packing up for the trip. Leaving pretty early tomorrow, should be fun.
Christina: Hi, so I'm here at the airport, I'm ready to go on my flight back to
Virginia, which goes in about an hour. My flight will be an hour long, and I'm
really exicted, yay, airport.
Jacob: We got in yesterday afernoon at about 2 in the afternoon. and went to
our hotel which is just down the way from where I am right now. Currently
I'm at... um, a guy by the name of Jerry Nelson, he's one of the alumni
of our fraternity. It's his house, right now. And I'll show you guys the view I've
got in a little bit. Really just having a relaxing time, it's right on the beach.
Christina: So, I'm flying to Virginia, and we just landed. You can see the sun
outside, you don't see that mnuch in Rochester at this time of day-- this time in the year.
I'm excited, because in virginia, we're gonna have sun, and about 60 the whole
week, so... yay!
Kevin: So here I am, back in my hometown, gonna meet up my friend for some lunch
at the deli. Maybe I'll give you a driving tour around.
*car alarm beeps*
[Music]
A los- what? A lost bird? That's something you don't see every day.
Mike: I ate it. *laughs*
Christina: Hi, so I'm here for spring break, I'm here at the national zoo in Washington,
DC.
As you can see, there's an elephant over there. That's what I do on my spring break,
I become a tourist in my own hometown, so... yay fun!
Jacob: Just got back from ATV'ing in the desert, which was really fun. I would have
taken some video there if I could but obviously, you know... ATV'ing, you can't really take
video.
It's tough, but it's fun. Just got showered up,
dressed, ready to go out tonight. Have some
dinner at the hotel, then enjoy some company tonight.
Let me show you guys around, real quick.
[Music]
Megan: So, this is california day 3. Getting ready to go on a company visit
to Space-X, they do commercial space flights, so I'll check in afterward. I'm all dressed
up, and ready to go.
Kevin: Hey, so I'm here at Nassau Colosseum, because over the break, we went to go see
an islanders game. We actually walked around here-- my brother's wearing the RIT jersey,
because he's repping hard, because he's cool like that. We bumped into some guy here taking
photos for the event, and it turns out he was a
graduate, of the New Media Publishing program.
It was pretty cool. We're here because, you know,
my family, once they've had their first hockey game
up at RIT, they have to-- they've been bitten, you know?
I don't know if, uh-- you know, our stadium is pretty cool, I mean, we're getting a new
one soon anyway, trying to keep up with blue cross arena, but this is nassau colosseum,
Megan: Where are we going?
and it's pretty sick.
Friends: We're going to pinnochio parking lot! What up!
Kevin: So I'm here in Carlos' Pizzeria, and you know, school food's alright, but
sometimes you just miss good 'ol Port Washington eats. Like, look at that!
Chicken roll!
So since this episode so far, my contribution seems to all be about food, I guess I like
food a lot.
A little update on tonight's dinner: we had homemade pizza, made by my stepmother.
Amazing.
And for dessert, red velvet cake popsicle cheesecake, white chocolate, with graham crackers.
So to conclude this last bit of food craziness, we have... what is this called?
Kevin's Aunt: Creme-brulee oatmeal.
Kevin: Creme-brulee oatmeal.

Jacob: Cabo wabo!
Talk to you guys later.
