I honestly feel like
through my life experiences, dentistry is exactly what I was meant to be
because I always knew when I was growing up
that I had the skill, you know, with my hands.
I loved to draw; I loved to sculpt. It was my passion,
and I just wanted to do something that can also help people with those skill sets
and
in terms of dentistry, it goes hand in hand.
I feel very confident in the work that I do to the point where
I love mentoring and that's only because of
all my past experience. When I was growing up in high school,
I had, you know, I was always tutoring kids or when
I was in college, I really didn't know what was gonna happen, so
I got into dental school really young, but I deferred because
I didn't know if it was meant for me or not, and I honestly
became a blue collar worker. I worked in construction. I built
houses, single-family homes, and I was always around these worker people, and
that's
why I feel like I can relate with all my patients because
my patients are those blue-collar workers. The other aspect is once I was in dental
school and I was done with dental school,
I had the opportunity to work with a mentor
who is absolutely fantastic. It's honestly because of him
that I feel like I'm very confident with all the traits
is because he's gone through countless schooling,
countless forces, years and dentistry to learn this,
and I sort of just pick pocketed all his best
techniques and what he's learned and then instead of starting from here
I ended up starting here, which was with the biggest help, and that's what I want
to pass down to other people.
