So if you're hiring a nanny or babysitter
this wouldn’t be the first time anybody's thought of doing some background
research on that person
this is Dave at AFX search licensed investigators
look you're trusting your child or your children to somebody who may be a
stranger or maybe a third party
you want to at least have some idea of who you are dealing with when you do an
investigation and then your babysitter gonna start with making sure that their
identity is correct name that they're giving you their identity is an accurate
person you want to
make sure they’re a legal citizen that get you in trouble and also
their background history will be dependant upon their identity
if that person is providing care
outside of your residence or might have access to another residence
you want to find out what that environment and scenario is like if they live
close by
it may be that during the course of the day they make take your children over to
where they live or to another
friend’s house you want to know what that environment and scenario is like you don’t want to leave it
to chance that they’ll always be at your house
if they’re going to be driving in a vehicle you wanna make sure that the vehicle
is a safe vehicle what's inside that car what are their habits like
is all of the environments
that your children will be in a safe place will there be others there
does this nanny or babysitter have colleagues
relationships boyfriends girlfriends that will be in contact with your children
that will be something that might create risk that you wanna know about what is their
prior activity
are there financial issues that even though may not affect your child directly
somebody with financial issues or distress might be more likely
to create risk factors for your family are there any DUI's other employment
issues that might be factors we also recommend doing some basic surveillance
on the person
to find out what their daily habits are like where they go what kind of places they hang out
again this might seem like overkill but when we do
due diligence for companies that are doing a hundred or two hundred thousand
transaction
they may spend a few hundred to find out if the other party their dealing with is
legitimate
you're entrusting your child to a person who you do not know so is a few hundred
worth it in that scenario
