A rainbow flag will fly above government offices in London from tomorrow marking the inauguration
of same sex marriage in England & Wales.
The first weddings will take place before 1am on Saturday.
Same sex marriages in Michigan have been suspended indefinitely following a single day of equality
last Saturday.
The 300 couples who got married will not now qualify for the benefits offered by more than
1000 laws in the state.
The newly appointed CEO of Mozilla has responded to criticisms over his 2008 donation to halt
marriage equality in California.
Avoiding referring to the donation itself, he promised to uphold the company’s non-discrimination
policies.
Organisers have announced the first Pink Dot Hong Kong will take place on June 15th.
With the theme of ‘We Are Family’ the all-inclusive party will feature entertainment
from Denise Ho & Anthony Wong.
And finally, film-maker, Michelle Ehlen attended the Cleveland International Film Festival
this week, with her latest offering, 'Heterosexual Jill'.
The movie is a smart, romantic comedy and can currently be seen in film festivals across
North America.
