However a book that fell into her hands about jewellery design in Europe pushed her to quit and pursue her dream going to khan el khalili district in Cairo to learn jewellery making from the top jewellers of that time
In the mid 1970's she won a scholarship to study jewellery design in the UK and then returned to open a small workshop to manufacture jewellery
which over the years would turn into the largest such factory in te region, working with the most prominent fashion houses in the world
Furthermore the top stars of the world have come to wear her designs including Queen Rania of Jordan, Mme. Asmaa Al Asaad; first lady of Syria, Chart topper Rihanna, Gillian Anderson, Supermodel; Naomi Campbell & Egyptian TV Star Yosra

She left the safe, secure governmental job to achieve her goals, going to learn as an apprentice in a male dominated world of jewellery manufacturing in some of the most famous local workshops
She went on to fuse traditional Egyptian, Islamic, Coptic & Pharonic stylings to create a look and feel that is truly hers
