When the weather outside feels cold, wet and dull it can be a little difficult to feel
motivated to exercise. In January you could feel more tempted to relax on the sofa and
watch TV rather than lace up your running shoes or curl those dumbbells. But don't worry,
because help is at hand from Simple fitness expert Anna Reich, who has some inspiring
New Year fitness advice. Anna's first tip is to set out specific dates and times in
your diary for exercise. Once you've done that, simply get your kit and then get to
it. Next, Anna believes in starting simple. Why not set your alarm 15 minutes earlier
than usual and go for a 10 minute morning jog? Tip number 3: get walking. As Anna says,
every little helps and it will surmount to a bigger difference over time. And finally,
consider eating a cleaner diet. Be sensible, and you will see better, quicker results.
