We are entering the gates to Airbus factory in Hamburg
Now driving into their big delivery site
We are navigating the huge factory area via this site map.
We are at the Airbus Delivery Center. It is here where the newly manufactured aircraft’s are delivered to its owners
Behind me is the 6000th aircraft produced by Airbus. It is an A380 which will be delivered to Emirates
This is the World’s biggest civil aircraft, which uses 20% less fuel compared to other similar sized airplanes
This allows it to save 500 000 liters of fuel consumption per year
It is the most eco-friendly flying aircraft ever produced for the sky.
Emission of CO2 per passenger is only 75 g per kilometer (is this what you meant?)
This will be statistically the cheapest aircraft to fly
Emirates have ordered Airbus A380 in three classes
First, Business and Economy…
How it looks like inside, we will see in few minutes
Now let us watch it from the outside
Behind me is the front wheels of this giant
Compared to the sheer size of this aircraft these aren’t all that huge
Next to me here is the "only" 20 wheels, which helps this giant bird land safely
After all we are not at the civil airport...
this is the company's airport, built specifically for Airbus
The huge wings, huge engines of this aircraft marks a giant impact
Now let us see how this plane looks like inside
This is the interior of Airbus A380 when flying on Emirates
In few seconds we will see how the other two classes of A380 looks like. Business and First are at the upper deck
This toilet is not so impressive
But those located upstairs for sure do!
Pilots are already at the cockpit; in few hours this plane will takeoff heading to Dubai.
Our trip to Airbus has ended for now, but we will be back here soon for sure!
