i am working in the front loop only so it folds over nice and has a little
bit more freedom to move

and half double crochet
all on the same stitch
i am working the front loop on all the way around and this is creating a ruffly effect

now i am going to join
with the beginning stitch putting my hook below the two loops, yarn over yarn over pull through
pull through the loop on the hook
now i am going to pull through a little bit extra
i never know when i might need some yarn
pull it through, give it a tug
and this is what the body section looks like
this is what it looks like on the inside
and you can modify the edging if you'd like a little bit different look
you can come up with your combination of stitches

sewing later

the chain two
six single crochet
into the first chain
work a chain two
in the first chain

join with the first stitch
yarn over pull through
i'm going to attach
the yarn with a slip stitch just like that
work a chain one
round two will be two single crochet
in each stitch around for a total of twelve
thats two
and i'm going to crochet right over this tail and that will save me some time
a little later sewing in

nine....ten
eleven
twelve
work one single crochet in each
stitch around for round three there will be a total of twelve... one
two
three
four
five...six
seven....eight
nine....ten
eleven....twelve
we will join with the first stitch
yarn over pull through
and i am pulling through a little bit extra
it will be used for attaching it
this is what it looks like
now i am going to go on ahead
and tie these up on the inside
i am not going to sew them in
because we can just hide them on the inside
and then cut off the yarn just like that
now i have a little bit of stuffing
and i'm going to use
some of it on the inside
and while i have access
i am going to sew on the eyes
now i am going to start attaching it
and i am working approximately
one...two
three... four... five
six... seven
approximately seven rounds from the center
putting my needle below the stitches to the instead
and then back up
moving home for a little bit putting my needle to be inside
through the stitches and i am picking up the eye and the pink part
pink yarn i should say
and moving back up
giving it a little tug
and putting the yarn to the inside
and back up through the eye
my needle
to the inside, i know i said yarn
the last time but i meant needle
sometimes i get my words mixed up
pulling it through
putting my need to the inside around back up
putting my needle to the inside, around the stitches and back up
putting my needle to the inside
around the stitches and back up
putting my needle to the inside around the stitches and back up
and that should be
pretty secure
i'm going to give it a little tug, not to much
just a little bit
and that looks pretty good
not i am going to make a little knot
and a second knot
and i am sewing it to the inside like this
and then cut off the yarn
the second eye will be attached the same way
i am got both of the eyes sewn on
now i'm going to work
on sewing in this tail here at the center
this is the time you want to sew in
any extra tails that you have
and they're all pretty much sewn in the same way
i just always like to make an
extra knot
just to make sure things are secure
and then
weave it between the stitches
and since it's going to be on the inside
it's okay if it shows a little bit
were keeping it on the
inside
it just does not have to be real neat
on the inside
so i'm going to make another little knot
and then cut off the tail
and going to start
attaching
the tentacles
and i'm going to use this flat side
and place it
right about here
and you will place them evenly around
we have eight
or how ever many you decided to use
with crochet
we can give our
creature
whatever we want them to have
that one attached like that
and eight will be done the same way
i am going to make a knot
right here
and sew it to the inside
and i did not stuff these you can stuff yours if you want to
but i'm not going to stuff mine
and will show you in just a moment what i am going to do
now we have them flat in this direction
i am going to lay it down like
this
and i left a little bit extra here at the end
and so when this is flat like
this
i'm going to curl this around and you can curl it whatever direction you
would like to
or make whatever shape you would like to thats up to you
but i am going to take
and curl mine
around like this
and then i'm going to
attach
with a little knot
right about here
i want to give a little
curled up look
so if you want to leave your straight
you can leave it straight
it will still work out
or give them all different shapes
going to sew this to the inside
and cut off the tail
i have completed all the arms
now it's time to start stuffing
the inside
once we get it stuffed
we will sew on the bottom section
and i am attaching it down here
through the main part of the body
and... each little arms
keeps sewing it around
until it is completely
closed up
have a little bit here
quite a ways to go around yet
attaching right through the arm
and picking up through this little strand of yarn
i am finishing up the last few
stitches here closing it up completely
i am going to make a knot right here
and a second knot
and i am going to run it to the inside like that
and then cute off the tail
this is the top view
you and see i went on ahead and attached the arms in different places
just to give it a little bit of character
