Hi, Michael Burton and we're here talking about choosing a wedding videographer for
your wedding day. It's very important when choosing a wedding videographer that you talk
with them, before hand, about back-up equipment. Make sure you ask them and remind them to
have a back-up camera, batteries, tapes, and lighting, everything you can think of so that
they have that at your wedding in case something goes wrong because it does from time to time.
I remember, one time, when I specifically had put in a tape to run and the tape would
record and so we had to switch out another tape. A very minor problem, but it would have
been very disastrous if I wasn't carrying extra tapes in my pockets on me and I had
to run out to my car and stop the wedding to get a new tape. I just was able to pull
that tape out, pop it in and we went on with the wedding. It's very important that the
videographer has back-up equipment. If they do not, you might want to look somewhere else
and try to find somebody that does have a lot of back-up equipment. Because, you don't
want to take the chance of losing something so special. I mean, it only happens once,
and especially with live event videographer. A videographer knows what they're doing; they
should have back-up equipment no matter what because in live event videographer, you don't
get a second chance.
