This next type of neck opening is a drawstring neck opening. Usually drawstring stuff we
have on like the hemline of a shirt, but like, think of a, think of a hood sweatshirt and
if you're really cold and you have pull the cords and tie it, that's what this is representing
only this is not a sweatshirt or it could be if that's what you envision, then cool,
whatever. Make your own decisions and choices. Don't use my ideas because honestly if you
use my ideas like I'm giving you, you're going to have some boring designs. Somebody's going
to look at it and be like, "oh my God. You wasted your time on these". And you're going
to be like, "well that's what she said. That's what the expert said". No I did not. I said
take this and build something of your own with it. So a drawstring opening we have our
string that is internal, that's sewn into the fabric and then you pull it and tie it.
When you pull it and tie it, that's what creates the folds which you draw the line little dashes.
It doesn't have to be perfect. That shows that when you fold it it's not perfect. When
you tie it, it's not perfect. There's your bow which is the ends of the lace that ties
it. And then obviously, you're pulling it tight through the fabric, it's going to have
marks, little pieces above it that are also pulled tight.
