\f0\fs24 \cf0 For me UW-Milwaukee changed who I was. Up until I went to classes there
I was an engineer and I was doing engineering kind of things, and after I went there it
really turned me into a manager and helped develop my leadership skills. And I think
it was a turning point in my life. One of the things that we believe here at the Lubar
school is that there's nothing better about learning than getting out of the classroom
and seeing it and kicking it and smelling it and tasting it. Companies like Rockwell
are helping us actually launch such initiatives. People really don't think about how difficult
it is to get raw materials into a product and available in a local market. Either employees
or myself will guest lecture at classes or at student organizations, create awareness
in these students, what supply chain is and why its important in their life and how they
can make a career out of it, cause it's something that we're going to need forever. It's people
like Lyman Tschanz who provide that access, who can open the door, so our students can
have their real world experience. I'd like to thank my wife, married to me for 33 years
now. I have three young boys, working here in the community. So I'd really like to thank
my family for all the support. }
