Now another way to clean your brushes is basically to, you take a soil brush, and you go right
into the cleaning process. No soaking involved. You have your brush cleaner which you're going
to use and you're going to apply it and then you're going to start scrubbing away. Now
there are a bunch of different products that you can use for this. Some people use like
the brush cleaner, or like the liquid silicone based, I've also seen people use turpentine,
which I really don't recommend. It's a little too extreme for me. But there's different
ways of doing this. Sometimes people do this on a flat surface, I'm just going to demonstrate
in my hand. Get some of the cleaner, get it towards the top of the bottle, and apply it
to the palm of your hand. Now, some people don't like to have contact, but I'm just basically
using this as an example. You don't necessarily have to do this in your palm. You can do it
on like the bottom of the sink or something where they're not touching you. And also,
run some, run a little bit of water. Get your brush a little wet, and then you're going
to start scrubbing. Scrub, scrub, scrub, scrub, scrubbing. The cleaning brush ointments, liquid,
will then mix with the pigment and will start cleaning your brush. Now we turn the water
back on. Get your palm clean, even use the brush if you need to to get some of that excess
paint off. There will be plenty of cleaner going all the way around. And then start fingering through the brush until you see
the pigment is gone, which it is.
