Hey there, it's Bauer. You know digital photo frames,
are definitely a huge, huge gift idea,
and they're starting to sort of blend with personal,
media players a little bit. It's getting kinda hard,
to tell the difference. Like this one from Transcend.
This is a 7" Digital Photo Frame, and it's got a couple of things,
that really set it apart, one of them being,
it's got 2 GB of Built-In Memory, already right out of the box,
which is huge amount of memory for a digital photo frame.
In addition to that it has a very nice high resolution screen,
800 x 480, it will do pictures, it will do video, it will do music.
It even has a built-in FM Tuner and,
a built-in Calender and a built-in Clock.
So this is a great thing to have sitting right next to your bed,
maybe on your bed-stand, because it can basically replace,
all of the things that are sitting on your bed-stand,
right now. Let me go ahead and show you,
how this thing works, because it's nice.
This one has a very nice navigational system actually.
On the front, you actually notice, that it does have a navigational pad,
right here along with a selection button.
Very similar to what you'd find maybe on a cell phone,
or something like that. And this is your main screen.
As you can see on the main screen you have options,
for photo, for radio, for video, for your calender, for music,
and to set the thing up. Now, obviously photos,
is sort of the main purpose of this device right.
Now you're gonna see we have a very,
very nice display here. You can easily pull up your photos,
browse through them, set-up slide shows.
And on the bottom here, you can see there's a nice,
navigational panel as well. So you don't have to,
sort of guess at what your'e doing.
You can build your slide shows, you can zoom in on your slides,
you can manipulate your photos, all from these buttons,
along the bottom of this screen.
Now, as I said, it also has a radio tuner.
Check this out. On the back you'll see,
a little, a little radio and little FM radio antenna,
hanging off this thing and if you're not gonna listen,
to the radio, you don't have to have this hanging off.
But we come down here and we select the radio function,
and look at this, we will have a radio, we'll have,
your radio playing, right next to your slide shows.
So you can listen to music, or listen to talk radio,
or whatever you want to, while a slide-show is playing,
next to it. Now also we do have standard video functionality,
as well. This will take, Avi, it'll take Quicktime,
it'll take MPG's and it will also take MP4 files,
on this device. So let me go ahead and go on,
over here to video. We'll show you how that works.
Once you hit the video button, it'll show you a very,
similar screen to what you saw when you went to your photos,
and when we hit OK, we start playing the video file,
that is inside the device. One of our reviews,
right there. Now also, it also has a calender function.
Now this is, again, this thing goes way beyond being,
just a digital picture frame. Now, this is your little friend,
next to your bed or in your living room.
Right here we also have a calender. We pull that up,
and you can see we have a very nice looking calendar, with clock,
and with photo slide-show, right this is actually your clock,
I just haven't set the time, that's why it looks like that.
And if you want to take a look at some of the settings,
in this as well, we can do that. Right over here we have,
all the basic settings for this particular frame.
You can set-up your display, your memory.
You can set your alarm on this, so that it can work,
as an alarm clock for you. All of your language settings,
and all of that stuff is all located right here as well.
So, this is a really really cool little frame and is going,
to be able to take the place of a lot of different devices,
that you typically find in your bedroom, So,
this is a great gift. It's got a nice,
high resolution screen. 7", 800 x 480. It does come,
with a remote control, so everything that we were doing,
there on the screen, can be controlled,
by this remote as well. And does have quick access buttons,
to get to your music, and your movies,
and the radio and all that stuff right there.
Like I said, it has FM Tuner, Video playback, 2 GB's,
of built-in memory, and all around,
a very very high quality device. I'll just go ahead and show you,
what we have going on on the side here.
Now this takes a number of different card formats.
This is your SD and MMC Card Slot right here.
What you'll see above that, is there's actually,
a microSD Slot in here as well. That's the place for,
your microSD Card. You don't see a whole lot,
of digital frames with those microSD cards already in,
usually you get an adapter. This one has that.
and it also has your Compact Flash Reader right there.
And on this side, you have your input,
for your Antenna right here, a Volume Control ***,
Input for Headphones and by the way,
if you plug your power in there, it won't turn on.
I found that out, when I was trying to,
set this thing up a little while ago.
And also a USB Port for plugging in your USB Memory Stick,
and a USB Port for plugging into your computer so that,
you can copy files directly from your computer,
to the 2GB's of internal memory on this frame.
And also, you'll see that it does have Mounting Points,
on the back, so that this can be mounted on a wall,
if you like and this can be rotated into a,
Portrait orientation, so that your pictures can be shown,
in portrait or landscape mode, however you so choose.
So this is a really really nice frame. Great gift.
It's going to be able to do a lot more than,
your basic digital picture frame. So go and have a look at it.
It's the Transcend 7" Digital Photo Frame,
with photo, video, music, radio and a calender.
Go have at it. To get more information,
