Greetings, denizens of Youtube,
tonight we're going to answer the question,
"Does Disabling Shot have any effect on the terrifying Sectopod?"
Let's take a shot and find out.
Now, our test subject today will be
Squaddie So Ji Choi. She's going to do the unthinkable
and run out, right in front of the sectopod.
and... find another
sectopod. Awesome.
So she's going to take some cover. And hopefully not die.
'Cause, you know, she's only up against two sectopods, right?
Annnnd... there's no shot.
So let's take this sniper and fly him up.
Except he does he has a shot.
And he doesn't. So that's probably a bug so we're just gonna...
swap weapons and see... yes, we do have a shot.
Only 75% chance but, hey, that's better'n nothing.
So we're going to try and disable this guy too... and he's disabled. So let's see what happens
And it fails the first test.
The sectopod has a shot
and Squaddie So Ji Choi takes it to the face.
And... the sectopod uses its mortar attack, so that confirms it.
Disabling shot has no effect on sectopods;
Damn useless against them.
The real question is, "Will Squaddie So Ji Choi survive this encounter?"
And how long is the line of sight on those freaking drones, eh? Oh, here it comes!
She survives it, amazingly.
Unless he takes another shot...
Nope. He's dumb and activates his mortar, too.
So, there you have it folks,
uh... disabling shot has no effect
on sectopods, at all.
So save your shots,
happy hunting, and
good luck with your next XCom game! :)
Ack Jammer, out. :)
