Earlier this year I visited my ex-colleague Willemijn Verkaik in New York
when she played green witch Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway.
Today we were on Amsterdam Airport again
because after performing in the musical in Germany, the Netherlands and New York
she'll be performing on West End in London the next period of time.
That means her husband Bart will have to miss his green wife again.
Passport please.
Just back from Broadway, Willemijn is already on her way to a new musical theatre mecca.
A month before her opening night in London she's particularly working on her British accent.
I'm getting phonetic coaching.
I had a lesson yesterday.
Her hubby Bart is also abroad a lot. The couple is used to being apart for longer periods of time.
I'll try to be there at her first show. Or else I'll be around at Christmas.
The musical theatre star has been on stage continuously for years.
The 38-year-old isn't thinking about any addition to the family.
I don't really hear the clock tick. I'm enjoying being on the road a lot.
Or we'll have to do it at Christmas. - At Christmas?
Because then we're probably together. - Well who knows it will be a Christmas baby.
On Christmas night...
And there she goes again...
