The letters U and W, of course, are very closely relate in style and construction. So, we'll
start with the U because it's somewhat easier. We're going to make a curved stroke, now this
is a new stroke, we haven't made this yet, so I'll have you look at it carefully. And
then we're going to add a straight spine to it. So, we're starting with a little jog just
to keep the letter straight and smooth at its beginning. Now, w is just a compound u.
So we've got one, two, three strokes. Now you'll notice I'm jiggling the pen a little
bit as I start, and that's because sometimes it's hard to get the ink across the nib. So
if I take a little tick stroke like that, one, two, and you'll notice I'm overlapping
these strokes, particularly in the w, there's an overlap in here. You'll see a little bit
of it maybe, I don't know if the camera can show you that. But that's the letter w. So
it's a compound u. It takes some practicing to get it even, so go ahead and practice.
