Hello everyone, my name is Lyle! Welcome to another episode of Boomsock Shorts...
Fine. Lyle Facts. This week's topic is about sports!
Did you know in a far-off land called Scotland, there existed a game.
Which was called: Gentlemen's Only, Ladies Forbidden.
Take the first letter of every single one of these words and it comes out to the game
we know as: GOLF.
Did you know, that humans are the best animals for long distance running?
They even beat out animals like horses in a long distance marathon.
Speaking about horses, did you know that horse racing was one of the most dangerous sports
known to existence?
About two to three jockeys are killed every single year.
Which reminds me, that same number is also the total amount of baseball players killed
in its entire history!
Woah! That must've hurt his head.
Did you know in the past, the NHL forbid the use of aspirin to any of its players?
Which is weird, because it also didn't say anything about illicit pharmaceuticals, or
alcohols...
Whelp, my name is Lyle, and this is Boomsock Shorts: (Lyle Facts!)
And we're signing off!
