Average drinking a day
for tea for me is probably about 4 or 5 cups.
I drink about 3 cups of tea a day.
Around 10 cups of tea a day,
something like that. I drink 18 cups of tea a day.
I'm a tea addict.
I think it comes from China.
I drink it hot! It's literally Teflon down.
Sometimes I put a bit of cold water to drink it quicker.
I love tea.
Nowadays people take tea for granted
but back in the eighteenth century tea was a luxury.
Tea was a valuable commodity it was a risky business due to pirates
stealing tea and smuggling it to the country.
Because tea was so expensive smugglers would mix it up with other things
such as rat pooh and wood chippings to increase their profits.
Half a kilo of tea in 1780s would've cost £4 to £6
which is roughly equivalent to £1800 today. Which means it would
cost £7.20 for a single tea bag.
£7.20 for this!
Teabags, I think, should be about 5p a tea bag.
I would probably say about 3p
I'd like to spend on a tea bag. If it was about 5p,
I would happily pay that, any more I would say they're having a laugh. If the tea prices...
...suddenly rocketed
I would spend
£10 a week
to feed my habit.
My mother used to drink
many many cups of tea a day sometimes she would drink from the bowl, so
since I was little I see tea around me.
Instead of mum giving me milk she gave me tea.
I like to wake up
drink a tea
and drink tea throughout the whole day and I like to end my day with a nice tea as well.
