Good morning Santa Teresa! Today is october 16th 2013 . I'm Ethan Eisenhart
And I'm Kalia Grieve and this is your daily news show.

well anyways good thing i brought it up because we have hookie tryouts soo if you want to
tryout go check that out and visit and go to sharksice.com and sign up under our school

Anyone interested in playing baseball this year...there will be a meeting after school,
next Thursday the 24th, on the baseball field at 3:30pm. And today there is also a girl's
water polo game at sobrato!
Next week is homecoming week! What does that mean you might ask?? SPIRIT DAYSSS! Each day
will be a spirit day representing the class themes. Monday will be Mickey and Minnie Monday!
Tuesday will be time travel tuesday! Wednesday will be when you wish upon a star wednesday!
Thursday will be the adventure inside thursday! And friday will be class color day!
The rallies commissioners are working *** friday night's homecoming rally so go out
and support them! This Saturday, october 19, there will be a fundraiser for them at wingstop!
Stop by to get some good eats while helping the classes buy supplies to make the rallies
better! Pick up a flyer in any english class and in the offices. There will be one of the
final homecoming practices today at 7! Freshman are in the foyer, sophomores in the ASB room,
seniors in the MPR.
So how do we dress up for those spirit days?

As for clubs! The Santa Teresa Start Now will have meetings at lunch in room 213 on Wednesday,
October 16 As well as Oct. 30, Nov. 6, 20, & Dec. 11.
Literature Club will be selling books every Wednesday at lunch in room 307 for the rest
of the first semester. Most books are 50 cents to $1 and AP study guide books are available
for $5. Since we are on the topic of books! The library is open today!
Christian Club meets at lunch in 1301, Robotics Club after school in 412 CSF meets at lunch
in room 203.
Computer Science club meets alternating on Tue and Thurs. This week we are meeting on
Thurs Oct-17 in the room 503 computer lab after 7th period!
Please join our ASB in celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness day on Friday, October 18th
at lunch! they will be at the outdoor stage to take a picture of ST going pink! and Saturday,
October 19th during the, JV and varsity football games you can donate a dollar for breast cancer
research to receive a chance to win some pretty amazing prizes.Some of the prizes are gift
cards to Cinemark theaters, AMC theaters, chilis, and starbucks! There is also a grand
prize of a pink bike and more! There will be instant prizes on Friday as well as a donation
drawing on Saturday. There will also be pink ribbons and donation cards available for $1
to honor someone who's had or has breast cancer. Come on out, wear pink, and support! ------------------CUT------------------

On the topic of nominations for Homecoming Court are now open! You can vote at tinyurl.com/STnom2013.
You can only vote once and you can only vote for people in your class. If your teacher
is okay with it, you can use the QR code that we're going to put on the screen right now
to vote from your phone. If not, you can vote via the QR codes around campus. Voting closes
Friday, October 18th at three pm!
In case you haven't noticed, today students were taking the PSAT this morning! That means
we have a weird schedule today! First period started at 10:30 and second period begins
at 11:05.
I feel so bad for all of the students who came thinking that it was a normal day!
I just feel so sad for them! That must have been the worst!
Speaking of worst.... Ethan it's the worst time of the broadcast!
