Hello, my name is Melissa and on behalf of Expert Village today I’m going to teach
you how to make the perfect cup of hot chocolate. Now in this clip we’ve got our chocolate
and our milk melted and ready to go. Now in this step, I mentioned earlier that if you
want to put in any liqueurs you should do it before if you want to burn off the alcohol.
If you want a stronger taste, this is when you would do it, now, add in your liqueur
right before you’re about to pour it into the cups. Also we can play with various flavors,
I don’t know if perhaps, you’ve ever tried this before but you can also put different
herbs and various spices in your hot chocolate as well. Things like basil, things like nutmeg,
or uh, ground cinnamon, it’s whatever is up to you, however you want to try flavoring
it, so experiment with different flavors. Right now I’m going to put in just a hint
of ground nutmeg in here, just for a little bit of a kick, not overly drastic, just a
little bit in there for a bit of flavor, so that’s what I’m going to use today is
just a bit of ground nutmeg for some flavor, you can add in anything that you wish, and
in the next clip I’ll show you how to garnish this, so I’m going to head off of the stove
now, take this and put it into one of my favorite hot chocolate cups and then we’ll start
garnishing our hot chocolate.
