When will you be able to drive after the OCEAN technique? Well it's essentially very similar
to a breast enlargement. It's just that the scar instead of being under the fold, is around
the ***. So we normally recommend that you don't drive for the first week. The reason
for this is number one, you're recovering from the anaesthetic. Number two, there will
be some discomfort and some possible limitation to your movement of you arms. So if you had
to do an emergency stop, you might not be quite as effective as normally.
There is some argument that in fact the OCEAN technique may be slightly more comfortable
following the operation, because the scar is actually around the *** rather than
in the fold underneath the breast. The fold underneath the breast is an area that can
get pressure from seat belts. So overall, the OCEAN technique, you probably need to
think of at least a week off driving following the procedure. We can give you lots more information,
more detailed information at your consultation.
